Cavagna 30mbar Fixed Bulkhead Regulator for Caravans/Motorhomes - 8mm Angled

Our Opinion:-

Manufactured  by Cavagna group, who are regarded as making the best regulators and also make regulators for Calor.

 In 2004 the caravan industry adopted EN1949 which standardised the pressure to appliances at 30mb through a fixed bulkhead mounted regulator in the gas locker of the van, in the early days they tended to fit a Truma/GOK regulator. These proved to be troublesome and blocked up, either stopping the gas flow or venting gas through the yellow escape valves on the regulator. This Cavagna regulator is an ideal replacement for the Truma/GOK regulator and also a lot cheaper to buy. They also do not suffer from the same issues as the Truma/GOK regulators, and have proved to be a lot more reliable.

This is a regulator to fit to a 8mm Copper pipe. We would advise this regulator is only fitted by a qualified gas engineer and is checked for gas tightness after fitting.

424RV caravan regulator supplies gas at regulated pressure of 30mbar to caravan gas appliances in compliance with European standard EN1949 and is suitable for use with Propane and Butane.

Mounted inside the caravan gas locker this regulator has compression fittings for 8mm on-board copper pipe system and connects to the gas bottle via a pigtail hose and suitable bottle adapter.

This is the 90° model with regulator inlet and outlet at a 90° angle
