Description

Our Opinion:-

Fenwicks have long been regarded as the 1st choice for cleaning products by most caravanners, we certainly use and recommend them

With the majority of caravans now being fitted with Stabiliser hitches like ALKO AKS1300, AKS2002/3002 and Winterhoff (BPW) WS3000. These Stabilisers work on Friction pads, similar to Brake pads. It is therefore essential that your vehicles tow-ball is clean and free from grease and oils. Fenwicks Tow-ball Cleaner is ideal to degrease and clean your Tow-ball, ensuring safe towing and preventing damaging the Hitches Friction pads by contamination with Oils/Grease that would result in having to change them, costing you money.

Always use Fenwicks Towball Cleaner before towing to ensure to contamination of the friction pads.

Tip:- New Tow balls are generally coated in a black paint Coating. This paint must be removed before towing with a Stabiliser Hitch as it will also damage the Hitches friction pads. Simply use a fine wet & Dry sand paper to remove the Black Coating. Then clean with Fenwicks Towball Cleaner.

What the manufacturer says:-

Fenwicks Towball Cleaner is a fast action, no fuss cleaner for your towball. With AL-KO style stabiliser units, it is essential that all dirt and grease is removed to allow the stabiliser pads to work properly before each hook up. This can be done simply and effectively using Fenwicks Towball Cleaner. Improving towing stability and driving safety.
