Semloh 10m Mains lead - Safe 2.5mm Copper Conductors

There has been an influx of cheap, generally Chinese manufactured mains leads, that do not comply to the British Standards, they can have undersized conductors and inferior plugs. This can lead to danger of overheating and possibly fire.

Is Colour important - An Orange cable is the recomended colour for use on Caravan Sites, especially Camping & Caravanning Club and Caravan & Motorhome Club sites. Also lots of commercial site will only allow the use of orange cable.

10m leads are ideal if the service point is close to your caravan or motorhome and also on continental sites where you may be over 25m from the service point, so need to connect a 10m to your 25m lead, if doing this make sure your leads have a 2.5mm conductor and remember to protect the 16amp plug and socket where the leads joint as this will not be waterproof and you should use a suitable method to protect them.

If using a cable coil -Never leave the cable coiled up, as this will cause overheating. lay the cable out as straight as possible and if connecting a 25m and 10m lead protect the connectors from water/rain using a purpose made waterproof cover
